Fun & Theme Parks: Reptilandia Park

The municipality of Gáldar boasts the impressive Reptilandia Park. Here, you’ll find more than 150 species of reptiles in big outdoor terrariums plus three different indoor exhibition rooms. Animals include snakes, lizards, frogs, iguanas, tortoises, crocodiles, caimans and alligators. It also hosts tarantulas, scorpions as well as monkeys, lemurs and parrots.

Two of the star attractions to see are a seven-metre Chinese python and the largest lizard in the world, the Komodo dragon, which can reach up to 100 kg in weight, Reptilandia Park being the only zoo in Spain to display this species.
