Amadores

Between Puerto Rico and Puerto Mogán lies another glorious man-made beach, Playa de los Amadores, which can also be reached by a 20-min walk along a cliff-top path from the beach of Puerto Rico.

This extensive bay, well protected from the ocean, boasts an 800 m (0.5 miles) stretch of beach with golden sands and crystal-clear waters.

This is certainly one of our favourite beaches. Visitors are prohibited from playing ball games or listening to radios, but you can escape the serenity by taking your pick of a good assortment of bars and restaurants directly at the rear of the sanded area.

This beach provides excellent conditions for small children … but also for the romantic – otherwise it wouldn’t be called the lovers’ beach (Playa de los Amadores)!
