San Agustín, Gran Canaria

 

Situated in the peaceful resort of San Agustín, the Gloria Palace San Agustín Thalasso & Hotel lies at approximately 600m from the sheltered beaches of San Agustín and Playa de las Burras. The neighbouring resort of Playa del Inglés provides a wealth of entertainment opportunities if you are looking for the heavy partying and nocturnal sprees for which it is renowned. Lying just a bit further along the coast, the beautiful sand dunes of Maspalomas are a sight to behold and offer camel rides across the dunes, secluded nudist beaches or lovely sights of the palm grove and natural lagoon.

Windsurfers will be in their element in the windsurfing hot spot of Bahía Feliz, which lies just to the north of San Agustín and is particularly popular during the winter months. Children will love the cowboy and Indian extravaganza of the mock-western town of Sioux City in nearby Cañon del Águila.
