Günther Herbig will conduct again the Philharmonic Orchestra of Gran Canaria (OFGC) at the 16th concert of the 2016-2017 season, which will take place on June 2, 2017, at Auditorio Alfredo Kraus, at 8:30 p.m.
Conducted by Herbig, the German pianist Peter Rösel will make his debut in the OFGC season, playing Beethoven's 'Piano Concerto No. 4', a piece of great poetic beauty in which the composer was able to achieve a balanced synthesis of forces between the piano and the orchestra.
The German maestro will close the concert with Symphony No. 9, known as the Great, an extraordinary romantic orchestral composition by Franz Schubert.
