The first edition of GastronorteArtenara 2017 will have the gastronomy of the northern region of Gran Canaria as its star. This event, which will take place on June 6, 2017, at the Viewpoint Restaurant La Cilla, aims to promote the excellent products of this area, particularly the cheese with Designation of Origin, so as to boost their consumption in local restaurants.
The gastronomic creations of the cooking teams from two training centres belonging to Escuela de Hostelería Europea (European Hotel School) will compete to win the main prize. At this event guests may watch the exclusive menus being prepared, and a jury of experts will assess them.
This gastronomic festival is organised by Edarte (association of entrepreneurs for rural, turistic, cultural and economic development of Artenara), in collaboration with Escuela de Hostelería Europea.
